Workplace technology can look impressive on a specification and still be frustrating in daily use. Displays, cameras, microphones, loudspeakers, conferencing platforms, control, networking and room infrastructure must operate as one coordinated system if a space is going to perform reliably.
GT was created to provide a more considered and accountable approach: understand how the space needs to work, engineer the complete solution, select technology for the requirement and remain involved through installation, commissioning and support.

Founded on Real AV and Workplace Technology Experience
Darryl Gibb, CTS - Founder and Managing Director
Gibb Technology was founded by Darryl Gibb, CTS, following more than 12 years working across professional AV, workplace technology and broadcast.
His career has included experience with AV distribution, technology manufacturers and established systems integrators. Before founding GT, Darryl supported projects involving organisations including DocuSign, Zurich, HubSpot, eBay, Uber, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Arthur Cox, Public Appointments Service (PAS) and the Houses of Parliament.
That experience shaped the way GT works today: define the requirement properly, challenge assumptions early, design the complete system and maintain personal accountability from the first conversation through handover and support.

Discovery and Requirements
We start by understanding the organisation, the room, the users, the collaboration platforms and the operational outcome the technology must support.
AV Design and Specification
GT develops the system architecture and technical documentation needed to turn the requirement into a deliverable solution. This can include equipment specifications, AV schematics, signal-flow drawings, CAD layouts, camera and audio coverage, rack designs, connectivity schedules and infrastructure requirements.
Supply and Project Coordination
We source the required hardware and software, coordinate procurement and logistics, and work with the wider project team to keep the AV package aligned with the programme, room readiness and site requirements.
Installation and Integration
Experienced AV installation engineers complete each deployment with attention to cable management, equipment mounting, rack build, configuration, service access and the installation standards required for long-term reliability.
Commissioning and Handover
Every system is configured, tested and commissioned against the intended room experience. Handover can include user guidance, administrator training, system documentation and the information required to manage the environment confidently.
Support and Lifecycle Management
GT provides AV support and maintenance for individual rooms and multi-site estates, including systems installed by other integrators. Support options can include remote diagnosis, onsite engineering, preventative maintenance, warranty coordination, monitoring and lifecycle planning.

The following projects were designed, supplied, installed or remediated directly by Gibb Technology. They demonstrate the practical application of GT's engineering-led approach across meeting rooms, collaboration environments and large-format display systems.
Corrib Oil - Microsoft Teams Rooms for a Galway Head Office
GT modernised a large boardroom and two medium meeting rooms at Corrib Oil's Galway head office. The solution replaced legacy projector technology with commercial displays and Microsoft Teams Rooms, incorporating Neat video conferencing, BYOD connectivity, content sharing and room-booking technology. The result is a consistent, easy-to-use collaboration experience across all three rooms.
ZILO Technology - 136-Inch LED Collaboration Space in Canary Wharf
GT designed and delivered a flexible workplace AV environment centred on a 136-inch LG direct-view LED display. Neat video conferencing, Shure wireless microphones, JBL audio and presentation connectivity allow the space to support Microsoft Teams meetings, company communications, presentations and larger internal events.
The Kia Oval - 3x3 Video Wall Remediation in London
GT replaced and remediated a damaged 3x3 55-inch video wall at The Kia Oval. Following an inspection that identified poor mounting practices and broken brackets, the system was rebuilt using compliant mounting infrastructure, precisely aligned and recalibrated to deliver a safe, serviceable and consistent finished display.
