The key advantage of direct-view LED is scale without the visible bezels associated with traditional multi-screen LCD video walls.
Individual LED cabinets and modules combine to create one continuous image, allowing the display to become part of the architecture rather than simply a large screen attached to a wall.
For corporate environments, this can provide a particularly strong solution where presentations, video conferencing, corporate messaging and high-impact content need to be viewed across a larger space.
LED also gives designers far greater freedom over physical dimensions and aspect ratio. Instead of choosing from fixed 85-inch, 98-inch or 105-inch display sizes, the visual canvas can be engineered around the wall and the required resolution.
LED Is Becoming More Accessible
The commercial case for LED has changed considerably.
Fine-pitch LED technology has developed rapidly while manufacturing costs have reduced, bringing solutions that would previously have been difficult to justify into a much wider range of corporate projects.

Understanding Pixel Pitch
Pixel pitch is one of the most important specifications when designing an LED video wall.
It describes the distance between individual LED pixels, normally measured in millimetres.
A finer pixel pitch places the pixels closer together, increasing pixel density and allowing detailed content to be viewed from shorter distances.
That makes fine-pitch LED particularly important in boardrooms and corporate environments, where people may sit relatively close to a very large image and need to read presentations, spreadsheets and detailed content.
However, specifying the smallest available pixel pitch is not automatically the right answer. Finer pitch normally increases cost, so GT assesses the expected viewing distance and content before determining the appropriate technology.
The objective is the right pixel pitch for the space, not simply the smallest number on the specification sheet.
